Teach Today

Digital giants unite to help teachers encourage children to use the internet and mobile technology responsibly.

Buongiorno is proud to be part of TeachToday, a collaborative project guiding pupils to take advantage of the opportunities and avoid the risks of new technology.Available in six languages (English, Czech, French, German, Italian and Spanish), TeachToday provides teachers with lesson plans, case studies, reporting procedures and outline policies aimed at making the best use of web and mobile communications. The project is being setup because the companies involved recognize a responsibility to ensure beneficial use of the technologies which they are creating and marketing. To create TeachToday, Buongiorno partnered with AOL, BEBO, Deutsche Telekom /T-Mobile, Facebook, Google, GSMA Europe, Microsoft, MySpace, Orange, 02/Telefonica, Telecom Italia, Vodafone and Yahoo! Europe. It was launched in Brussels in the presence of Viviane Reding (currently EU Commissioner for Justice, Citizenship and Fundamental Rights) with the participation of Buongiorno CEO Andrea Casalini. The website can be found at www.teachtoday.eu.
